Arch Chair

The chair and armchair from the Arch collection reference classic forms of chairs and armchairs, but thanks to simplified details they gain a distinctly modern character. The expressive cut-outs in the base, inspired by arcades, refer to classical architecture. The base of each seat is entirely CNC-milled, which allows the creation of subtle and unconventional shapes that would be impossible to achieve using traditional wood-working methods. The backrest highlights the natural wood surface, while the use of plywood with varying thickness gives the form additional lightness and refinement.
